Instantly transfer text/image/file/folder to iPhone/iPad using Express Paste®. Works great with iFileExpress, which allows to view transferred content.

Features:

Two-click Express Paste® – one (right) click on tray icon and another on app icon to paste clipboard content to iPhone/iPad.

Content Type Awareness – send content to correct location(s) in app’s sandbox so that the app knows how to use them.

  • Multiple files of different types can be copied at once. For example, you can copy one movie and multiple song files and paste them into an app. If the app has different locations for movies and songs, the files will be placed into those different locations.
  • You can also copy/paste folders. The content type of the folder is determined by the dominant file type in the folder (by file size). The whole folder will then be copied to the desired location in the app’s sandbox. For example, you can copy a folder that contains one movie and a few trailer image files. The folder will be pasted into the app’s movie folder.

Light-weighted – iFunBox Connector only uses minimum system resource. It’s designed to serve your file transfer needs whenever you need.

How iFunBox Connector works:

iFunBox Connector is installed together with iFunBox. After installation, an icon shows up in system tray area. If you don’t see the icon, try to click on the little triangle next to the tray area and look for the icon in the expanded tray area. Drag it to the tray area if you desire.

Connect your device to your PC. A message will popup letting you know that iFunBox Connector has detected the device. Note that both USB and WIFI connections are supported.

Right click on the icon will show a menu like the following. If your iPhone/iPad is connected to your PC, you will see your device name and the apps on your device which support Express Paste®.

If there is no app on your device supports Express Paste®, an ‘Add …’ icon will help you find apps to install.

Using Express Paste® is easy. First, copy (by CTRL+C or via context menu) a block of text, image, or files/folders like you normally do when using Windows. For example, let’s copy two MP3 files.

Then, in iFunBox Connector’s tray menu, click on the app to which you want to paste the content.

A popup window will appear, indicating the progress of the file transfer.

When transfer is done, the popup window shows a summary of the files and size copied.

Grab your iPhone/iPad, launch iFileExpress and go to “music” tab. Verify that the files have been successfully copied.

Useful Tip #1:

Don’t forget that you can also copy/paste text or image. For example, you can copy image from a web page.

The image will then be pasted into the “pictures” tab in iFileExpress.

Useful Tip #2:

You can launch iFunBox by either double-clicking the tray icon or select “Open iFunBox” from the menu.

68 Thoughts on “iFunBox Connector

  1. Installed IFunBox v2.1.2228.731 and got the following errors:

IFunBox Connector – Failed to detect the problems in loading Apple Mobile Device Runtime Support

IfunBox – cannot detect device via USB connection to PC, keeps saying “Connecting to the device”.

    OS: Vista Home Premium
    Device: iPad 3
    Device OS: iOS 6.0.1

The purpose to install IFunbox is to substitute iTunes and to edit .app file. Let me know when you get this working.

  2. I have got the same problame, iFunBox won’t connect to my iphone
    OS: win7

Your new ifunbox program is a piece of shit.

All of a sudden, I could not copy files to var>mobile>Documents>Installous>Downloads anymore. Anything over 200 MB cannot be copied anywhere on the iPod anymore.

Why the fuck did you do that?

Then, we have to always be connected to the Internet, or else your stupid ifunbox 2.1 doesn’t even work properly.

And then ifunbox does not even connect to the device anymore?!?… It just says “connecting to the device” forever.

    What a piece of garbage.

    I’m going back to Cyberduck.

newsgroup guy – Be constructive or shut the f up.

    I’ve got the same problem:
I’ve connected my iPhone 3GS (iOS 5.0.1) via USB to my computer (Win 7 Pro, 64 bit) and I can access the iPhone via explorer (“Internal Storage”).

When starting iFunbox v2.1.2228.731 the upper menu bar is not accessible.
It just says “iFunBox Classic”, “Managing App Data”, [...], “Connecting to the device…” and the little circle is rotating.
But I can’t click anything in the menu bar.

When hovering over the iFunBox Connector icon in the lower right of windows it says:
“iFunBox Connector – Failed to detect the problems in loading Apple Mobile Device Runtime Support”

    Thanks for any hint

Hi there. iFunBox didn’t work on my PC and I used to get a “Failed to detect the problems in loading Apple Mobile Device Runtime Support” or similar message.
Using a file monitor program, I’ve discovered that iFunBox was trying to locate libxml2.dll in C:\Windows instead of “C:\Programs\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support”. The version of libxml2.dll present in C:\Windows (726kB) directory was an old one.
So I copied libxml2.dll from “Apple Application Support” (v. 2.1.13.0, 1214kB) to C:\Windows and now iFunBox is running OK, alive and kicking :-)

Hope this can help the developer and the other users with similar problems.

  40. Btw I should mention my iPhone is not synced with my NEW pc yet, so I don’t know if that is the case.

  41. I decided to bump up my security by changing my passCODE into a passWORD. My problem was that I was busy at the time, and I didn’t write down the new password, relying on my photogenic memory, and a password so common I was sure I’d never forget it. Well…nothing I enter works, and pretty soon my iPod is going to erase itself. I have my Apple password, and I can plug my iPod into my laptop with iTunes. I have a current backup, but is there a chance that I could plug my iPod into my computer and use iFunbox to locate my missing password?

  49. I fixed “iFunBox Connector – Failed to detect the problems in loading Apple Mobile Device Runtime Support” by installing Itunes (or find alternative runtime files)

  50. I was having the never-connecting problem, too. Mine started working after installing iTunes for windows. Probably has to do with drivers. You don’t even have to use iTunes (I even uninstalled the iTunes updater).
