iFunbox v1.9 is ready for download. The New iPad is now recognized and file transfer is also optimized for the new device. App inspection is a new feature introduced in this version, which allows you easily inspect the installed apps for checking their potential of leaking your private information. App file sharing support is also added. You can now easily access the document folder of Apps that supports “File Sharing”.
App Inspection will check the iOS APIs that used by particular App. We focus on APIs that might expose your private information, consume 3G data and potentially have annoying user experience. To check a list of App capabilities, right-click on one App and select the [App Inspection] as:

Then you will instantly have the App inspection report:

I like the new feature: App File Sharing.
I hope you can enhance this to include Library folder too.
Reason is certain folder that is not included in iTunes backup appear in this Library folder. E.g. GoodReader apps.
When ifunbox 1.9 started,i selected “App File Sharing”. but application closed.
Although iFunbox is constantly being improved, there is one aspect that you have ignored from the begining.
When you click on the User Applications shortcut on the left treeview, you display the apps installed on the right. However you do not sort the apps by NAME. Clicking on the “Name” sorts the apps in some different order and NOT by name.
iFile for the iPad gives this sorting but you still do not allow sorting on the app name making it very difficult to fins an app in the list on the right.
Please fix this.
is there any chance to contact with you? i have problem with adding music through ifunbox!
Very nice feature. And also interesting and little shocking to any program can access your address book without permission. :-/
Would be nice to have a simple option to limit certain API for selected or all apps.
ifunbox will not delete photo from carmera roll in iphone 4s.
from the image of the App Inspection of Fruit Ninja you are showing, I can see that this app is capable to read “Address Book” !!! what does it need the address book for ??? and what r the harm things that apps maybe capable to ? can u make a list or at least explain more please ?
great job on the appfastin-thing!
a few suggestions what could make developing with the help of ifunbox easier:
1) auto-start the installed app
2) watch a local ipa-file for changes and auto-install
3) command line option(s), in this case of course to install the given ipa
keep it up!
Yea, everytime I try to install an app by clicking FastAppIn windows explorer opens to select the file but iFunbox crashes immediately.
copying photos to camera roll seems to be buggy on iphone 4 ios 5.0.1…the files copy ok and they show in ifunbox but not in camera roll on iphone
.
I use non jailbreak iPhone 4 and 4S that cleaninstalled iOS 5.1.
Also use iFunbox for Windows v1.9.
Almost application sandbox can be browsed,
but I cannot browse DreamLeagueSoccer.app and FirstTouchSoccer.app sandbox.
Please fix it and thanks very much for providing free.
Thanks
I used Funbox to transfer files and it wiped out all of that data. Lost multiple hours of work.
Hi, I have a respring loop issue and am trying to get the app causing this deleted, however, everytime I connect my ipad 2 5.0.1 jb. It say “no device connected” I have emailed the file. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this would be so much better than a full restore. Thanks in advance
After I run recovery music and video (click on Start Recovery), all .mp4 video files have alphanumeric titles. On the iPhone device, the titles exist. Is there a fix for this?
Unfortunately, the transfer rate for ifunbox took a huge hit for me. I have no idea why. Just about a week ago i was getting 10 mb/s transfer at least… now its slowed to a crawl…0.21 mb/s!
What could have gone wrong?

Dear Sir,
I have iPhone 3GS (5.1.1) and I installed iFunbox. It is very nice to use iFunbox. But I have a query,
“Though my iphone is not jailbroken, how iFunbox is showing my root file structure ?”
Please help me to understand this.
Thank You
Amol
Can you fix the auto-thumbnailing for uploading Retina wallpapers? It’s broken with both Retina iPad and iPhone. The auto-nameing is incorrect (the postfix shoud be @2x~ipad.png or @2x~iphone.png). And there is no need to create the low resolution image files. Thanks
very nice
Thaaaaaaaaancks
Why not a portable edition ?
I have problem with i-FunBox (iPad1 w/jailbrokem iOS 5.1.1), files copied to device have “root” as owner, not mobile. So I must execute iFile on device and change manually file’s owner to “mobile”.
In earlier versions all was correct.
Is it i-FunboX issue or newer (5.1.1) iOS?
Had problems where it could not access apple mobile device driver.
First you have to run ifunbox as admin.
I copied dll to bin folder as mentioned
I started, restarted ladeda the service
Nothing worked except finally:
right click on ifunbox and select troubleshoot compatibility mode. It goes through and adjusts settings, then says run program. If it works, yippee, if not, try again. It is a compatibility issue with other dlls and/or 64bit.
I have downloaded the latest version 3 times and everytime I open the program, it says that I am running an old version and an update is required.
u r the best
could you please let me know when is the next big release with new ui for i-Funbox
Ex : i-funbox 2.0
Thanks
