Install app from .ipa package is now just one click from the toolbar on ifunbox.
iFunbox will transfer the selected ipa packages to iDevices and involve the official app installation service on iOS to complete the installation. Unlike .deb and .pxl packages, .ipa package is installed with low privilege, which prevents the installed app from destroying core iOS components due to bugs or malicious codes.
To install .ipa purchased with your own Apple ID for that device, the installation works even without Jailbreak. To install unsigned .ipa package, you may need to install AppSync from Cydia. Otherwise, the installation will fail.
Steps to install AppSync
1) Open Cydia app, and tip [Manage] tab.
2) tip [Sources] button.
3) tip [Edit]
4) tip [add]
5) Input http://cydia.hackulo.us, and tip [Add Source]. Wait a while for the data synchronization.
6) tip [Search] tab and search for Appsync.
7) install the AppSync corresponding to your iOS version. Wait a while for the installation and reboot, then you done.

Hello, i have a music CD and have converted it with a program to mp3. Now i want to put it into iphone, but using itunes sync is really a mess. (Deleting some of my app if I download it directly from my iphone in the app store)
I heard about ifunbox and i go for a check. It makes the Iphone looks like a windows explorer. GOod job, BUT!!!! Music transfer doesn’t show, but in stead i only get Recovery music and Video. So export out my iphone possible but no import. I tried the method to drag it to the location var\mobile\media\itunes_control\Music, to put on this root. It failed. I tried to drag using itunes, and it shows it hidden in 1 of the F01-F11 folders but with the filename changed. How can be manual using ifunbox to drag music to iphone now???

This installous install has not worked for any of the 38 apps i’ve tried to install. Each one does appear in Installous/Downloads but when I tap I get the same error:

I reinstalled Installous and that seemed to fix the permissions and I was able to install ipa.

hi i update the installous app trough cydia an then i update ifunbox on my pc,cuz appears a new update,but now mi ipa’s doesnt appear in the dowloads page on installous,i dont know why,before i dont have any problems

Try this fix
Ssh into your idevice and see if the permissions are set correctly, first go to /applications/installous.app and make sure the owner is set to mobile, then go to /var/mobile/documents/installous/downloads and press on the little blue arrow and go down to “permissions” and make sure the USER,GROUP,WORLD, are check marked for execute/write/read, also there make sure the ownership is marked as mobile! Not sure if this will help but you can try!

Last night, after installing that game, iFunbox confirmed that it had failed to install that game. I am wondering that just there is 446 MB on my storage ( it was 884MB before the process – I am not sure )

I recently bought an ipodtough from a friend. He jailbreaked it, and gave me instructions how to install Whatsapp. I did that, but now I can’t open it. When I click on the Whatsapp-button, it only shows a empty page for 1 second and then jumps back to the menu. I removed it several times and putted it back on my Ipod, but it just doesn”t work. Reinstall appsync from cydia dont delete it first just choose the reinstall option. It will rewrite the permissions works on devices up to 4.3.3. Problem with errors solved.

It worked for when I installed the Whatsapp for the first time via ifunbox (My Ipod Touch is Jailed and the app is paid for). But when I had plugged my Ipod Touch and itunes popped up, it asked me to authorise or deauthorise my computer and by deauthorising, the Whatsapp was deleted from the Ipod Touch. I installed it again via ifunbow but now I get this error message “Cannot connect to WhatsApp server. Please try again later.” Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Whatsapp is only valid for the iphone. If you sync your ipod touch, itunes will remove it no matter what. Whatsapp stopped supporting whatsapp for ipod touch and ipad a long time ago for no reason (imho)

I have some matter with apps for my iphone.
First problem:
I installed purchased apps with latest i-funbox (using AppFastIn) and
it shows succeed in PC. But when I play this app, it will close
immediately and I can’t play any apps.
My iphone are not jailbreak and ios firmware is 4.3.
Second problem:
I installed my purchased apps into my closest friend’s iphone ( that
is already jailbreaked and installed AppSync for 4+).
But the problem is the same as above and can’t open any apps after
installation is succeed.

To copy Music from PC to iDevice .. u can use the myTunes from Cydia
This will allow u to see the music files in the human readable for (English) name of song…
The location will be /private/var/mobile/media/myTunes

Here’s one for ya ….. I have a 2g iphone jail broke redsnow. before I started I have a unlock slider the doesn’t work. So Cydia can’t be loaded to load openssh. ( No SSH in this verison of redsnow New verison of redsnow have SSH but they do not recognize my ipsw verison for this 2G Iphone) Remember this is only a USB possible connection WiFi is out of the question here. I need to get to the root drive on the Iphone to replace the slider file. — What would be nice is a PCto iphone remote controlin a PC program — There is a Iphone app for remote control But again the slide will not let me in. I know the digitizer works cause I can power off using the red slider. I found the file that cures the slider problem but I cannot get it to the root drive without SSH loaded for Ifunbox to do the job over USB. Thanks in advance….Dev Team

back up apps into .ipa format using iPhone or iPod touch, install crackulous from cydia (the same as installous).. and in Crackulous, just simply click app u want to back up , it’ll be done.
By using iFun box, u can also back up ,too..
1. go to -user applications
2. and right click on app u want to back up
3. then, click “back up to .ipa package”
……try it..!!

Hi, think I’ve made the big newbie mistake on my iPad 2 (5.1.1) :
- Followed jailbreak operations with Absinthe 2.0.4 (Mac OSX) : Cydia installed.
- Tried to launch Cydia : Cydia refused to launch.
- Displayed iPad content with iFunBox : selected Cydia then deleted it (think this is the fatal error).
- Re-tried the whole Absinthe jailbreak procedure many times and always get the same message : “ERROR: Device already jailbroken! Detected untether”.
Am I definitly screwed up or is there any solution ?

I need you guys to help woth something please. I first had 2 GB of free storage on my iPhone 4S. I tried to Install a 1GB ipa file using iFunbox, but my phone said that there was no more space. I checked in Setting>General> Storage and there was 0.0MB left. My guess is that it used the first 1GB to copy it, and the other to extract it. The application wasn’t installed. So where does iFunbox copy the ipa so i could delete it? and where are the files that were extracted from the ipa? Please Help

I tried to install iFileExpress 1.3 using iTunes and iFunBox, and both said that it failed for the same reason: not compatible with my iPod Touch. iFunBox was nicer: it told me that I had to have my iOS at 4.1 or higher.
Except… my Touch is 4.2.1.
Is there a reason that installation would fail for 4.2.1 when 4.1 is the requirement? Is it because my Touch is a 2G 8gig? Is it possible to make iFileExpress work on a 2G? I ask because iFunBox does.

ERR (-402653104) can also be caused by a corrupt .ipa file. Download it again. If it still fails download it from another source.
