Today we are excited to release iFunBox for Windows v2.6. Yes, it’s v2.6, not v2.5 as said in previous post because we added a new feature: Ringtone import & export. Now you can easily change your ringtone like music and photos in Quick Toolbox. It’s not perfect yet as the system built-in ringtones are not supported, and the format should only be M4R file. We’ll improve this feature later in the upcoming versions.

Where’s the imported ringtones?

The imported ringtones can be found at the top of the list in /Settings/Sounds/Ringtone (Marimba) on iPhone, or…

at /Raw File System/iTunes_Control/Ringtones on iFunBox. However, you can only delete it in this iFunBox’s folder.

This 2.6 version include all the features that 2.5 preview version has, but more robust and stable. Listed below.

  1. Support music, video, photo and ringtone files import/export
  2. Accelerated thumbnail preview in Camera Roll
  3. Optimized device connection 2x speed up
  4. Fixed crashing issue on errors

Also, we added alert for failing to connect the device. You can easily solve this problem by just installing the latest iTunes.

    Hey Guys

Was working away today on V2.5(Win XP), came home and installed 2.6(Win 7) and wouldn’t import Video or Music. Upon completion of the import I received 0.00mb copied.
Note – RIngtones was able to import successfully.

Are there any config setting when using Win7. Thanks
